Are you ready for the last rafting trip for this season? Well, start preparing your stuff and join the Footprints Nature Club this Sunday 15 September 2019 in

Goodbye Rafting Trip to Assi River

We will be rafting from the first rafting club on the river, and head towards the magnificent waterfalls of Dardara. We will be passing through two smaller waterfalls on our 7 KMs ride.

The trip shall take around one and a half hours in the river. The ride is of an Easy to Medium level of difficulty where we will have experienced guides in each raft.

Rafting is suitable for everybody. You don’t have to be a swimmer to ride the raft since everybody will be wearing lifejackets and special helmets.

After the ride, we will head back to the club to have lunch on the riverside after changing our clothes in the chalets and changing rooms provided there.

Lunch will be a traditional Lebanese mezza (homos, salad, potato, etc…), a famous Troite fish, and Lahme Mishwiyi and Tawook, with soft drinks.

A minimum of 15 persons is required to go on with the trip...

Must Have

You will get wet from your head to your toes, so make sure to get extra clothes to wear when you get out of the water.

You should get the following to go into the water:

  • Pants or long shorts (avoid short ones to prevent scratches)
  • T-Shirts (avoid i-shirts to prevent scratches)
  • Old Shoes or water sandals or footies

Your personal insurance.

Cost Fees

Trip cost 60,000 L.L., includes:

The cost of the excursion is 60,000 LL per person covering: Lunch, transportation from and back to Beirut, cost of rafting with guides, access to the chalets, toilets, and showers of the Club. The fees shall be paid upon reservation since the number will be limited to the first callers only.

There will also be an option for those who want to do rafting only without lunch: 50,000 LL covering transportation from and back to Beirut, cost of rafting with guides, access to the chalets, toilets, and showers of the Club.

And for those who would like to come with us to have lunch on the riverside: 40,000 LL covering transportation from and back to Beirut in addition to the lunch.

 

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby starting 7:00 AM...

We will start on Wednesday 15 Sep, 2010 at 07:00 AM.
The bus will move at 07:35 AM.
 We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Wednesday 15 Sep, 2010 at 07:00 PM.

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
