Trip 499: Hiking from Dahr El-Kadib to Tannourine


The Footprints Nature Club would like to invite this Sunday 13 October 2019 for a hiking trip on a totally new trail that will take us in Bsharre-Tannourine Region to:

Hiking from Dahr El-Qadib to Tannourine

We will start the hike from the French Room in Dahr El-Qadib area on the road from Arz to Bekaa. we will head on top of the mountains surrounding the Bsharre Region to reach Kneiset El-Rubb, before heading down to the entrance of the Tannourine Reserve.

It might be very cold throughout the trail. Thus make sure to get heavy jackets with you.

The walk will be of a Medium Level (7/10) with around 14 KMs and 5 hours walk.

The weather is very tricky up there. If it is sunny, it is usually hot with some flows of cold wind. But if it gets foggy, things will get really cold.

So it is important to get your normal hiking gear with a hat for sun, and a jacket in case it gets cold. On such high altitudes, there is a high possibility of strong wind.
 
Note that we usually don't cancel our trips in case it is raining. We grab our waterproof stuff and enjoy walking under the rain...

مشي في الطبيعة من منطقة ضهر القضيب إلى تنورين

رحلتنا ستبدأ من منطقة ضهر القضيب ونتوجه على قمم الجبال المحيطة بمنطقة بشري إلى كنيسة الرب. نتوجه بعدها نزولاً باتجاه مدخل محمية أرز تنورين.

الطقس قد يكون بارداً، لذا يجب إحضار جاكيت وغيرها مما يلزم.

مستوى الرحلة سيكون مستوى متوسط: حوالي 14 كلم، وبوقت حوالي الخمس ساعات.

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
