Trip 443: Sunset and Moon rise Hiking in Ain Zhalta-Shouf


The sunset view from the mountain is one of the best views that you can see... What if this was followed by examing the moon rising from behind the mountains above the Bekaa Valley...
All this you can experience with the Footprints Nature Club this Saturday 25 August 2018 in an amazing hiking trip to the very beautiful nature of:
 
Sunset & Moonlight Hiking in Shouf Biosphere Reserve
 
Our walk will be of an Easy to Medium level (6 to 7/10). It shall take around 4 hours with around 9 KMs.
 
You have to bring a warm juacket and a torch with you for this trip.

ندعوكم لمشاركتنا هذا السبت 25 آب 2018 لرحلة مشي في الطبيعة للاستمتاع بمنظر غروب الشمس ثم بمنظر القمر فوق سهل البقاع، في واحدة من اجمل مناطق لبنان:

مشي في وقت المغرب وعلى ضوء القمر في محمية ارز الشوف

الرحلة ستكون بمستوى سهل الى متوسط وبمسافة حوالي 9 كلم.

يجب احضار مصباح للإضاءة وسترة (جاكيت) للتدفئة خلال الرحلة.

Trip cost 40,000 L.L., includes:

  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides
  • Shouf Biosphere Reserve Entrance fees

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby, starting 3:30 PM...

We will start on Saturday 25 Aug, 2018 at 03:30 PM.
The bus will move at 04:00 PM.
We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Saturday 25 Aug, 2018 at 11:00 PM.

    THE LESS YOU CARRY, THE MORE ENJOYABLE THE HIKE.

    Avoid Huffing and Puffing

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
