Trip 480: Hiking from Rashaya to Ain Ata to Nabi She2et


The Spring season is here, the nature is wearing its green colors, prepare yourselves for our splendid Spring trips...
 
An amazing trip this Sunday 05 May 2019 with the Footprints Nature Club will take us to the Rashaya region, to walk on a very beautiful trail:
 
Hiking from Rashaya to Ain 3ata to Nabi She2et 
 
The trip is on section 25 of the Lebanon Mountain Trail (LMT).
 
This section of the LMT starts in Rashaya and boasts the most beautiful footpath in the southern section of the LMT, especially during this season. The town of Rashaya is a major hub in the south, and offer ample opportunities for exploration. The trail flanks Mount Hermon, passes interesting rock formations and an oak forest, and the shrine at Nabi She’et. We will have few springs on this section.

The hiking level of this trip will be divided into:

  1. Medium Level (7/10): around 9 KMs ending in Ain Ata
  2. Medium to Hard Level (8/10): around 12 KMs ending in Nabi She2et
 
We usually don't cancel our trip even if it is raining. We simply gear up with the needed rain gear and enjoy walking under the rain in this beautiful area.

شاركونا هذا الأحد 05 أيار 2019 في رحلة رائعة في منطقة راشيا على درب جبلي رائع لنستمتع في:

رحلة مشي في الطبيعة من راشيا الوادي إلى عين عطا  ثم إلى مقام النبي شئت

الرحلة ستكون على الدرب 25 من دروب "درب الجبل اللبناني". 

ستبدأ الرحلة من بلدة راشيا الوادي التاريخية الرائعة، ونتوجه منها إلى بلدة عين عطا، ثم نكمل الدرب إلى مقام النبي شئت. المناظر الخلابة للمنطقة ولقمم جبل الشيخ المكسوة بالثلوج سترافقنا طوال الدرب، لتزيده جمالاً.

الرحلة ستكون مقسومة إلى مستويين:

  1. مستوى متوسط: حوالي 9 كلم ينتهي ببلدة عين عطا
  2. مستوى متوسط الى صعب: حوالي 12 كلم ينتهي في مقام النبي شئت

ملاحظة: في حال كان الطقس ماطراً، فإننا لا نلغي الرحلة بل نتجهز بما يلزم ونستمتع بالمشي تحت الشتاء.

Cost Fees

Trip cost 35,000 L.L., includes:

  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides
  • Cost of the local guide

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby starting 7 AM...

We will start on Wednesday 05 May, 2010 at 07:00 AM.
The bus will move at 07:35 AM.
 We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Wednesday 05 May, 2010 at 07:00 PM.

    KNOW YOUR ABILITIES; CHOOSE AN APPROPRIATE HIKE.

    Be a Lightweight

    THE LESS YOU CARRY, THE MORE ENJOYABLE THE HIKE.

    Avoid Huffing and Puffing

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

  • 04

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

  • 05

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
