Trip 467: Camping (Tents & Bungalows) on the Snow in Arz Ehmej


The Footprints Nature Club would like to invite you this weekend of 23 & 24 February 2019, to a very special event on the snow that will be full of adventures:

Camping (Tents & Bungalows) on the Snow in Ehmej Cedars (Arz Ehmej)

For those who prefer, we will have the option to sleep in the Bungalows of Arz Ehmej. However, reservations in Bungalows will be for the first comers, since the places are  very limited, and it will be shared bungalows for girls alone, and another for guys.

Camping in tents on the snow requires special preparations other than the normal camping. So please make sure that you read the details of the required preparations for this trip.

On Saturday, we will reach Ehmej Cedars (Arz Ehmej), setup our camp and prepare our wood for the camp fire, to be ready for the cold night. The region is prepared with electricty and lighting, and of course Toilets.

At night, we will enjoy a warm dinner (BBQ plates or sandwiches) in the warm restaurant of Arz Ehmej, before we gear up and enjoy “night snowshoeing” trip in the area to enjoy the night views of the region before heading back to the camp.

Alcoholic Drinks are strictly not allowed in the Trip...

On Sunday, we will pack our stuff and enjoy a traditional breakfast of saj and tea.

When we finish breakfast, we will enjoy another snowshoeing trip trying to reach the splendid Balo3 Bal3a (if the road allows the bus to reach) to enjoy its views under the snow...

 

Note that in such trips, certain conditions might oblige us to change some of our plans. So you have to keep this in mind...

You should also be able to withstand cold weather that we will have at night by having the required gear and the physical preparation for what we might face in such trips...

In case of bad weather, we will delay the trip till the weekend of 02 & 03 March 2019...

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
