Trip 437: Sunset Hiking in Niha


In Hot Summer weather, the Footprints Nature Club would like to invite you all this Saturday 28 July 2018 to enjoy the Sunset in a hiking trip to the very beautiful nature of:
 
Sunset Hiking in Niha
 
Our walk will be of an Easy level (5 to 6/10). It shall take around 2 to 3 hours with around 6 to 7 KMs.
 
We will enjoy the sunset from one of the best places for this: the Niha Fortress.
 
You have to bring a warm jacket and a torch with you for this trip.
 
We will have our light meal in the Fortress by eating the things we have before heading back to the buses.

في أيام الصيف الحارة، ندعوكم لمشاركتنا هذا السبت 28 تموز 2018 لرحلة في وقت المغرب، في واحدة من اجمل مناطق لبنان:

مشي وقت المغرب في نيحا

الرحلة ستكون بمستوى سهل وبمسافة حوالي  6 إلى 7 كلم.

سنتمع بمنظر الغروب من المطل الرائع من قلعة نيحا.

يجب احضار مصباح للإضاءة وسترة (جاكيت) للتدفئة خلال الرحلة.

سنتناول وجبة خفيفة خلال وجودنا في القلعة قبل التوجه الى الباص.

Cost Fees

Trip cost 40,000 L.L., includes:

  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides
  • Entrance fees to the Niha Fortress (Shouf Biosphere Reserve)

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby starting 4:00 PM...

We will start on Saturday 28 Jul, 2018 at 04:00 PM.
The bus will move at 04:30 PM.
We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Saturday 28 Jul, 2018 at 11:00 PM.

    KNOW YOUR ABILITIES; CHOOSE AN APPROPRIATE HIKE.

    Be a Lightweight

    THE LESS YOU CARRY, THE MORE ENJOYABLE THE HIKE.

    Avoid Huffing and Puffing

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
