Trip 401: Hiking from Mazra3et El-Tefah to Wadi El-Karakir


While enjoying the splendid sceneries and historical sites, we will enjoy this Sunday 22 October 2017 walk with the Footprints Nature Club in:

Hiking from Mazra3et El-Tefah to Wadi El-Karakir

Our hike will start from “Mazraat El-Tefah” where we’ll pass by an amazing water fall. Then we’ll reach "Rashta Amout" that is 650 m above sea level; after that, we'll go up to reach "Homeiss" which is 750m above sea level. From that point we'll begin the trail in “Wadi El-Karakir” through a foot path that length 4 Km to reach “Deir Mar Shaleta" which is 300 m above sea level. After that we'll walk about 20 min to "Mrah Kfar Zaghab" that is 280 m above sea level, where the bus will be waiting us.

The hike will be of a Medium Level (7/10 – 11 KMs – 4 to 5 hrs).

سنمر خلال مشينا في بلدات رشتا عموت، حميص، وصولاً الى دير مار شليطا ومراح كفرزغاب.

المستوى العام للرحلة هو متوسط (7/10 – 11 كلم – 4 الى 5 ساعات)

Cost Fees

Trip cost 35,000 L.L., includes:

  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides
  • Cost of the local guide

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby

We will start on Friday 22 Oct, 2010 at 07:00 AM.
The bus will move at 07:35 AM.
We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Friday 22 Oct, 2010 at 07:00 PM.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
