CANCELLED Trip 402: Hiking in Wadi Qannoubine - Diman to Mazra3et El-Nahr


The Footprints Nature Club would like to invite you this Sunday 29 October 2017 to a special hiking trip to one of the most beautiful places in Lebanon:

Hiking in Wadi Qannoubine - Diman to Mazra3et El-Nahr

There is no need to describe the beauty of Wadi Qannoubine. Just enjoy the pictures to know where we will be walking.

The trail that we will walk will be a new one that we didn't walk before. We will start from Diman and head down towards the Qannoubine Valley before ending in the village of Mazra3et El-Nahr.

The hike is of Medium level with some difficult paths (around 10 KMs with 4 to 5 hours).

ندعوكم هذا الأحد 29 تشرين الأول 2017 لمشاركتنا في رحلة إلى واحدة من أجمل المناطق الطبيعية في لبنان وتحديداً:

مشي في الطبيعة في وادي قنوبين - من الديمان الى مزرعة النهر

الرحلة ستكون بمستوى متوسط مع بعض الصعوبة (حوالي 10 كلم بوقت حوالي 4 الى 5 ساعات).

ستبدأ من المقر الصيفي للبطركية المارونية في الديمان لننزل الى وادي قنوبين قبل التوجه الى مزرعة النهر.

Must Have

The normal hiking gear that you can find on our website in the page "How to Prepare?".

Your personal insurance.

Cost Fees

Trip cost 35,000 L.L., includes:

  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby

We will start on Friday 29 Oct, 2010 at 07:00 AM.
The bus will move at 07:35 AM.
We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Friday 29 Oct, 2010 at 08:00 PM.

    KNOW YOUR ABILITIES; CHOOSE AN APPROPRIATE HIKE.

    Be a Lightweight

    THE LESS YOU CARRY, THE MORE ENJOYABLE THE HIKE.

    Avoid Huffing and Puffing

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

  • 05

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
