Trip 428: Hiking from Jabal Akroum to Qobayyat


The Footprints Nature Club would like to invite this Sunday 29 April 2018 for an extraordinary trip in one of the forgotten places in the far North of Lebanon, that will be:

Hiking from Jabal Akroum to Shanbouq-Qobayyat

We will start our trip from the top of the mountain overlooking 3oudeen Valley and Akroum Valley, and walk on the top of the mountain for around 9 KMs reaching to Sheer Ezrayeen. We will continue our trail to end at the Shanbouq Church in Qobayyat

Our trip will be of an Easy to Medium Level (6 to 7/10) with some difficulty.

رحلتنا لهذا الأحد 29 نيسان 2018، ستكون في منطقة رائعة منسية في أقصى شمال لبنان وتحديداً:

مشي في الطبيعة من جبال أكروم إلى الشنبوق في القبيات

رحلتنا ستكون في منطقة ذات المناخ والطبيعة الرائعة،

مستوى الرحلة سيكون مستوى سهل الى متوسط مع بعض الصعوبة: حوالي 09 كلم، وبوقت حوالي 4 الى 5 ساعات. الرحلة ستبدأ من جبال بلدة أكروم، مروراً بحرف الجبل المطل على وادي عودين، وصولاً إلى شير عزرايين. نكمل بعدها المسير اننتهي عند كنيسة الشنبوق في القبيات.

Cost Fees

Trip cost 40,000 L.L., includes:

  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides
  • Cost of the local guide

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby

We will start on Sunday 29 Apr, 2018 at 07:00 AM.
The bus will move at 07:35 AM.
We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Sunday 29 Apr, 2018 at 08:00 PM.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
