Trip 281: Hiking from Tannourine Reserve to Tannourine


Join the Footprints Nature Club this Sunday 07 June 2015 to walk on a very beautiful trail with very beautiful views and landmarks, the trail is part of section 10 of the Lebanon Mountain Trail (LMT), it is: 
 
Hiking from Tannourine Cedars Reserve to Tannourine
 
We will start from the unique and extraordinary Cedars Reserve of Tannourine that has one of the largest and densest Cedars Forests in Lebanon. Check out all the info of the reserve on the website www.arztannourine.org. We will head towards the beautiful village of Tannourine Al-Fawka passing thru hills and valleys of great views and nature. When we finish, and if we were not late, we will go by bus to see the amazing natural sinkhole of Balou3 Bal3a
 
As we would like as many members as possible to enjoy this special trip, we will divide the hike into three levels:
 
Easy Level (5/10 – 6 KMs – 2 hrs): This group will start in the Tannourine Reserve, enjoy an amazing easy level tour of 5 KMs in the reserve before heading to the village of Tannourine by bus to meet with the second group. They will continue to Balou3 Bal3a by bus after enjoying the area and the amazing views to wait for the other groups.
Medium Level (6 to 7/10 – 12 KMs – 4 to 5 hrs)This group will start in the Tannourine Reserve, pass in the reserve and head on a footpath of around 10 KMs towards the village of Tannourine. The trail is not hard, except for one steep ascent that will be a bit challenging.
 
 
في رحلة من اجمل الرحلات ستأخذنا هذا الأحد 07 حزيران 2015 الى منطقة تنورين وتحديداً:  
 
 مشي في الطبيعة في غابة ارز تنورين الى تنورين  
 
رحلتنا ستبدأ في غابة أرز تنورين ذات المناخ والطبيعة الرائعة. سنذهب بالباص، اذا كان الوقت يسمح بذلك، لنتمتع بجمال بالوع بلعة الرائع والفريد.
ستقسم الرحلة الى قسمين:
  • مستوى سهل: حوالي 6 كلم، بوقت حوالي الساعتين. ستكون الرحلة كلها مشي داخل غابة الارز.
  • مستوى متوسط: حوالي 10 كلم، وبوقت حوالي الأربع إلى خمس ساعات. سنبدأ من غابة أرز تنورين ونتوجه الى بلدة تنورين الفوقا. المسار ليس صعباً باستثناء طلعة وحيدة ستكون ذات صعوبة.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
